About

The company was started in March of 2005 by Keith Richards of Rigby, Idaho and Randy Wagner of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Randy Wagner of Idaho Falls, Idaho- co-owner of Cuffs Apparel      Randy has been active for many years in the D.A.R.E., (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), Program and approached Keith with the idea of printing tshirts with "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS™" after talking with Brad Richards (Keith's son) who was involved in the clothing industry. Brad told them it was a good idea, but a tshirt with "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS™" would be a fad, and to keep working on the idea. They came up with "CUFFS APPAREL", and the company was born.

Since then the CUFFS logo has been put on hats, tshirts, joggers, sweats, lingerie, and numerous other items. CUFFS can be put on anything that will take a logo.

Keith Richards of Rigby, Idaho- co-owner of Cuffs Apparel      Keith and Randy contacted a local attorney and applied for a trademark on the "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS™", and on the CUFFS LOGO, which is a pair of handcuffs on a 45 degree angle with CUFFS written below.

Nancy Richards (Keith's wife) has been instrumental in developing the product and moving the company forward, as well as getting a functional online presence established.

Randy and Keith have been in retail sales for over 70 years combined. They both enjoy classic cars, hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities, but consider their families as their greatest life achievements.
